Kamloops Curling Club Awarded 2013 Canadian University Championships!

Sites for 2013 & 2014 CIS/CCA University Curling Championships announcedWednesday, 18 January 2012 Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) and the Canadian Curling Association (CCA) have announced that Kamloops, BC and Regina, SK will host, respectively, the 2013 and 2014 CIS/CCA University Curling Championships.The 2013 edition will be held at the Kamloops Curling Club, March 20-24 and be hosted by Thompson Rivers University. Sports Team of the Year!!!

Congratulation go out to the Corryn Brown Curling Team for being named Kamloops Sports Team of the Year!!On Saturday, April 14th at the Hall of Fame Banquet, the Kamloops Sport Association named the Team of Corryn Brown, Erin Pincott, Samantha Fisher and Sydney Fraser as Kamloops Team of the Year.We are all so proud of this team's accomplishments and see all these players having a very bright curling career.Way to go girls!!        Read more

2012 CROWN OF CURLING

With a rich history over the past 38 years, The Kamloops Crown of Curling Cash Spiel is one of the few events in Canada that has been able to maintain both a ladies' spiel and men's spiel on the same weekend.  Logistically it is difficult, but the resulting atmosphere around the club is a big prize.  Winning Teams have included Men's Champions, Paul Gowell, Bernie Sparkes, Garnet Campbell, Pee Wee Pickering, Rick Folk, Al Hackner, Randy Febey, Kerry Burtnyk, Peja Lindholm,Greg McAulay and our own Jim Cotter to name a few.  On the Ladies side, Lindsay Sparkes, Connie Laliberte, Julie... Jam Can - A Hugh Success

Jam Can – A Great Success The Jam Can was held on March 31 – April 1 weekend and was a huge success.  We had 106 curlers participating and the club was full of excitement the whole two days.  Winners of the Jam Can Trophy for 2012 were Mitchell Kopytko, Treysen Goddard, Colorado Marr and Jorja Kopytko. A HUGE thank you goes to Wayne Saboe, Liz Saboe, John Cox and ALL THEIR VOLUNTEERS.  This event could not have happened without all your time and effort.  I heard comments all weekend about signing kids up for the Junior program.  Even some of the adults expressed interest in getting...
